Computerized Embroidery

Manila Embroidery was established by entrepreneurially minded businesswoman, Marilyn Bediones Ongkingco in 1972 at the Rotary Building in Ayala Center Makati when she was in college.

The business catered to the upper elite group of businessmen, ambassadors, government officials, diplomats and their wives providing them with tailor-made garments to wear for their parties, social functions and for their day to day use.

Manila Embroidery had its first taste of corporate uniform production when a lot of contractors and top designers sought our expertise in hand, machine and computerized embroidery, design-making, pattern-making, sewing and finishing for their garment needs. Contractors would leave it to our discretion to create innovative winning designs for them which yielded positive results. Because the overflow of orders from the contractors was increasing to levels which we could no longer handle, we built up our capacity by increasing our machines and manpower.

At this point, we decided we were ready to approach establishments directly and show them what we have been doing intensively in the past.

This led to the incorporation of Manila Embroidery Gold Inc. A company that specializes in corporate uniforms for male and female in addition to high quality hand and machine-made Barongs, wedding gowns, computerized embroidery, custom-made garments for men and women.

The first corporate client we served continues to be the company that we make around 2,000 sets of employee uniforms for annually for almost 20 years now. We manufacture office uniforms for their top management down to the rank and file employees in Makati. The experience we have gained throughout the years in producing top quality corporate uniforms has propelled us to produce at the highest levels of performance.

To maximize production capacity, Manila Embroidery Gold Inc. has captured a good market for export to Metro Singapore, United States, and Europe. At present Manila Embroidery Gold Inc. is focused in producing male and female corporate uniforms and the foreign and local custom-tailored garment market.
